Neal McLoughlin is the Superintendent of Predictive Services for the BC Wildfire Service. Neal works with a team of fire behaviour specialists, weather forecasters, data scientists, researchers, and software developers to deliver wildfire predictions, scientific analyses, technology, and expertise to enhance operational decision making. Neal was first introduced to wildfire management as an Alberta Junior Forest Ranger in 1999. Throughout his career in wildfire Neal has provided predictive services to planners and incident management teams, coordinated regional wildfire management planning, co-authored scientific papers on wildfire hazard and risk, instructed national and international fire simulation modelling courses, and led development of wildfire prediction software. Outside of work Neal is a musician and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing with his wife and three children.

Janet Davidson works in health care consulting with a focus on strategy, organization management and design, and governance. Formerly, she served as Deputy Minister of Health for Alberta. Janet has over 40 years of experience in healthcare in the government, voluntary and hospital/community sectors in a number of Canadian jurisdictions and internationally.
Janet currently holds the position of Administrator of the Nova Scotia Health Authority. She is a Board member of Bayshore Healthcare and the Hospital for Sick Children and immediate past chair of the Canadian Institute for Health Information and the Digital Research Alliance of Canada. She is the inaugural Johnson Fellow with the CD Howe Institute and co-chairs their health policy council.
Janet received a Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of Windsor and a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Alberta. She is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Education program at Rotman, the UC Berkeley School of Public Health’s Global Health Leadership program and has an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of Windsor. She is an Officer of the Order of Canada and has been named twice to the list of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women and Canada’s Top 25 Most Influential Women.

Stewart Beck is a seasoned diplomat, trade commissioner, and policy expert with over four decades of experience in promoting Canada's interests in Asia and the United States. He retired from his diplomatic career as Canada's High Commissioner to India and for seven years thereafter he was the President and CEO of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. He currently sits on a number of not-for-profit boards and is a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency's Nomination Committee.

Dr. Maya Tudor is an Associate Professor of Politics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. Dr. Tudor researches the origins of effective and democratic states with a regional focus on South Asia.
She is the author of two books, The Promise of Power: The Origins of Democracy in India and Autocracy in Pakistan (2013) and Varieties of Nationalism (with Harris Mylonas, 2023 ). She writes for the media on a regular basis, including in Foreign Affairs, Washington Post, New Statesman, The Hindu, India Express, and The Scotsman.
